We serve seniors (people age 60 and older), people with disabilities age 18 and older, and veterans. We’re here to identify resources that will let them live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
Sometimes, life can be overwhelming for older adults, people with disabilities, and their families and caregivers. Knowing that, our agency has made every effort to give you the information you need, when you need it. For years, we’ve offered one-on-one telephone assistance on our Helpline using highly trained staff who understand your needs. Now, we’re adding another resource: a redesigned and easier to use website.
Our website site is now much easier to navigate and offers you the opportunity to learn about resources and services in much greater depth. You’ll find information about alternative ways of dealing with problems you may encounter, like housing options and more. For instance, if you or a family member is faced with trying to identify your options after being hospitalized, but you’re not yet ready to live without help, our website will help you identify your choices.
Our Helpline will continue to provide the excellent, personalized service it’s always offered. We encourage you to call us at 503-988-3646. Our website is simply another great way to get the information you need.
We hope you like it!
Sincerely,
Mary Shortall
